Required to install/troubleshoot residential and commercial boilers and associated burner/control systems
- Knowledge/Understanding of heat piping systems.
- Knowledge/Ability to troubleshoot boiler components & controls.
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Repair and/or replace refractory, gaskets, parts, and miscellaneous controls.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have SST 40/62, F60 and/or G60, Limited/Full Gas certifications (a plus)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions
- Ability to work independently and carry-out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to bend, kneel, stand, squat, and climb frequently.
- Must have the ability to lift 80 pounds, carry 50 pounds, and push/pull heavy materials. Additional weight will require a two or more team lift.
- Must be able to work in confined space/areas.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
