Licensed Therapist
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced licensed therapist (Ph.D., Psy.D., or LCSW) to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a specific interest and training in psychedelic assisted therapy and hold an active license to work as a therapist in the state of NY.
At Curated Mental Health we provide traditional psychotherapy and psychopharmacology as well Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and interventional treatments including dTMS, Spravato, and IV Ketamine for patients with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as PTSD and OCD. As leaders in the field of interventional psychiatry, we further aim to provide additional psychedelic assisted therapies as they become FDA-approved and available (e.g. MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy, Psylocibin Assisted Psychotherapy).
Our Mission: To provide a comprehensive spectrum of mental health services to all patients, regardless of payer, in an intimate outpatient setting where patients are treated with compassion and dignity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality individual and group therapy services to clients with a focus on psychedelic assisted therapy
- Develop treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions to support clients' mental health and well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in regular peer supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of integrated care to clients, specifically with clients receiving interventional treatments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in therapy and counseling
Requirements:
- Active license to work as a therapist in the state of NY
- Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in therapy or counseling
- Background in psychedelics research or interest in this area
- MDMA Therapy Training (MAPS or equivalent) or willingness to participate in training
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other technology used in therapy settings
