Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance Administrator
The Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance Administrator will be a crucial member of the Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance team, providing comprehensive support to both the team and senior management. This dynamic and visible role involves completing executive administrative tasks, with an emphasis on expert-level data gathering, analysis, and organization. You will propose solutions to complex problems and work independently with confidential documents and sensitive information. You will report to the Vice President of Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance.
You Will:
- Collect and summarize data from several sources to support regulatory compliance and product safety programs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in compliance processes.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track compliance metrics and performance.
- Present data-driven recommendations to senior management and partners.
- Help prepare and submit product safety and regulatory reports to legal, government, and third-party agencies.
- Support preparation and maintenance of company procedures to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other required documents.
- Maintain product compliance records, including certificates, test reports, and regulatory filings. Support the submission of regulatory documentation, and update the document management system, databases, and spreadsheets of global certifications.
- Support certification projects in the ERP system, including creating requisitions, issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, updating project status, and maintaining expense tracking spreadsheets for management review.
- Maintain a basic working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory, product safety, and performance standards applicable to Vornado products.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Compliance, Project Management, or equivalent work experience is required.
- Expert-level proficiency in data gathering, reporting, and organization, including advanced skills in creating and customizing complex pivot tables and charts.
- 1+ years of experience customizing chart and presentation elements to convey insights impactfully.
- 1+ years of experience communicating with executive teams and handling sensitive information.
- 1+ years of experience explaining compliance requirements to diverse partners and translate complex regulatory information into understandable terms.
- 3+ years experience handling confidential documents with discretion.
- Expert Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data mining, organization, and reporting activities.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions, representing us positively.
- Understanding of company ethical standards and integrity in all Regulatory & Compliance related activities.
- Experience with project management and negotiations.
- Experience in regulatory compliance or product safety within a corporate, consumer product or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze data and information with a proactive approach to anticipating needs and providing solutions.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required; employer sponsorship for employment-based visa status is not available for this position.
