Location: Austin, Texas *Family will assist with relocation, however this is NOT a live in position
Schedule: Schedule varies – MUST be completely flexible to work any day of the week (50-60 hours). You will be given at least 2 days off every week, but flexibility is paramount for this family. Schedule will include sleepovers, weekends and holidays upon request. This role does require international and domestic travel.
Compensation: $40/hour plus OT after 40 hours/week, vacation, sick days, holidays, health insurance provided
An amazingly KIND and busy family in Austin, Texas is seeking a rockstar Nanny/Family Manager! In this dynamic role, the candidate will be overseeing three wonderful children (ages 3, 5 and 9) while leading a collaborative team (co-nanny and housekeeper), creating a synergistic and efficient household. This is a LIVE OUT position, and the family is seeking someone who is interested in a long term role.

Responsibilities include managing family calendars, meal planning, grocery shopping, light housework (dishwashing), maintaining children’s spaces, managing wardrobes, kids laundry, and providing general household assistance. Afternoons will primarily involve childcare duties, including school pickups, extracurricular coordination, playdate supervision, homework assistance, outdoor activities, and evening routines.

Family Management/Household Duties:
- Will work along side mom managing all other aspects to assist her
- Managing the household team
- Administrative duties – scheduling the nanny team and overseeing the children’s schedule
- Giving direction to other nanny (assigning projects, making sure she is keeping things organized)
- Picking up dry cleaning
- Running errands
- Ordering groceries – keeping inventory of children’s needs/food
- Managing vendors
- Manage both households and travel coordination
- Keeping track of household supplies, children’s supplies, and clothing
- Staying ahead of the game and always thinking ahead
- Super highly organized attention to detail (especially with ingredients of food and self care items – family lives a non toxic lifestyle)
- Light housekeeping: laundry, help with dishes, cleaning fruits and veggies
- Packing for travel (plan ahead and make sure they have everything they need before a trip. Must be experienced with packing and unpacking in an organized way)
- Manage family schedule

Childcare Duties:
- Keeping up with kids daily activities- after school activities, vitamins, daily exercises, bed time routine, meals etc
- Overseeing inventory of children – related items
- Planning daily activities
- Participation in age appropriate educational and developmental activities for the child
- Mental stimulation for the child
- Helping with pick ups, after school routines, homework, etc
- Meal prep – make healthy meals and snacks
- Picking up after the kids, play areas clean and tidy, cleaning up after meals, kids laundry (a lot of stain treating as well as folding clothes a certain way and open to learning this and maintaining the organized drawers)
Requirements:
- Clean driving record and a very good driver
- Strong swimmer
- CPR & First aid certified
- Can cook and follow recipes — The family deeply values healthy and active lifestyles, placing emphasis on fresh, healthy meals (no sugar and limited dairy and gluten)
- Open to traveling and have a valid passport
- Must be a dedicated career nanny who loves taking care and serving for the greatest good of the family. “Anytime, whatever you need” attitude
