Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee a portion of our production operations. By monitoring employees and organizing workflows, you’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a safe, smooth, and efficient process.
In a fast-paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. Therefore, they must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while maintaining quality.
The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver top-quality products promptly and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to leads and operators within your department.
- Learn the fundamental operational aspects of your primary depart along with the inbound and outbound workflows.
- Organize and manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Oversee, motivate, and coach leads and operators.
- Understand and ensure the safe use of the equipment within your department.
- Manage and assume accountability for production output according to specifications and UPH targets.
- Inspect and ensure high quality and accuracy of all manufacturing within your department.
- Collect and submit reports on performance and progress to the operations manager.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Train new employees on how to safely operate equipment and follow procedures.
- Enforce safety guidelines and company standards.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost reduction is required.
- Participates in monthly, quarterly, and year-end physical inventories in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- May be responsible for special projects related to other functional areas.
Requirements and Critical Competencies:
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing equipment
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and team player
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail Oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to meet customer deadlines, including overtime if necessary

- Ability & willingness to lead and work in a matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma; Degree in a manufacturing or relevant field will be an advantage.
- Experience – A minimum of 3 years of overall manufacturing supervisor experience is required.
- Language – English fluency is required; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Physical Demand
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- stand, sit, walk, and move about the facility for the entire shift which may include extended hours.
- frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of items and item containers can also be expected.
- occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Work Environment
The production supervisor's workstation and production area is in a typical production/warehouse environment. The plant environment is subject to seasonal changes in temperature and humidity. Most of the work is done on the warehouse/production floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
