Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician Helper/Duct Cleaner to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, inspecting and repairing belts and motors, and checking and adjusting thermostats.
- Operate a van and drive to customer locations to perform service calls.
- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and determine the most effective solution.
- Install and replace HVAC equipment, including new units and replacement parts.
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a background in HVAC repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Experience with ammonia refrigeration and equipment repair is a plus. The ability to operate a van and drive to customer locations is also required. Prior experience as a field service technician is beneficial. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.42 - $22.18 per hour
