Chevo is hiring an experienced Program Support Analyst to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC metro area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal or DHS financial systems operations engagements.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Process Improvement

Participate in meetings & responsible for producing meeting minutes

Investment Justification; Management Support
-
Program and Project Management support—initiative schedules; SharePoint Support; and associated Administrative Support.

Assist with supporting the modernization of a major federal financial system
-
Support federal client with managing financial systems
-
Assist and support the CE/OFM Government Program Manager with process reengineering, workflow analysis, risk management, analytical support, and stakeholder assessments

Strong written and oral communications are needed.
Required Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Management, IT, or Computer Sciences

Must have a background in Federal Financial Systems

Five (5) years of professional experience working in government accounting or finance

Experience gathering requirements
-
Expertise in Federal Travel Regulation (FTR). This qualification is applicable to all PWS Sections related to implementing, operating, and maintaining electronic travel systems

Four (4) years of financial audit support and remediation experience

Excellent writing and communication skills
-
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Power Point, Word, Visio, and Microsoft Excel
Additional but not required Qualifications:

Capital planning experience, providing business case support within the DHS INVEST System. If no experience, willingness to accept training and support capital planning portfolio.

Experience with Tableau or another Business Intelligence Tool
