We are building a motivated and dynamic team for our new state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. As a team member you will provide safe and individualized nursing care for patients who are undergoing ophthalmic surgery.
Regularly you will . . .
- Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room
- Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management
- Addresses patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting
- Provides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
- Confirms that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
- Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels
Success in this position will require . . .
- Colorado or compact state nursing License
- Ambulatory surgery experience
- Experience in operating room care
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Commitment to patient care
- Excellent skills and clinical ability
- Ophthalmology experience, preferred
