The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable and receivable functions.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Review, match, and code all invoices, credit memos, check requests, expense reports, and general ledger allocation prior to payment.
- Identify and address all accounts payable discrepancies
- Scan and save accounting documents
- Review all vendor statements monthly and ensure all invoices have been received and processed
- Process journal entries for monthly bank reconciliations
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
- Review and enter new customer applications
- Receive and process incoming customer payments
- Reconcile daily payments in the system and prepare daily bank deposits
- Create and maintain a Cash Collection Call log for each customer on the collection list.
- Conduct project research to prepare for notices
- Process General Contractor statement/intents notices via USPS certified mail.
- Prepare file for attorney and include all documents and logs obtained within the collection process.
Experience and Educational requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Need to be organized and detail oriented with strong communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate in a professional manner.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet frequent deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
