Residential Manager, Evening Shift
Hours: Evening, Tuesday - Saturday
- Tuesday: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Wednesday: 12:00pm to 8:00pm
- Thursday: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Saturday: 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Responsible for the overall program operation and staff supervision of the assigned residential units, and performs a variety of duties as a member of the staff team to provide a safe, therapeutic, and normalizing environment for the client population. This position is required to be in ratio as needed.
1. Performs administrative, programmatic, and supervisory duties as the overall manager of the residential unit including: hiring, scheduling, supervision, training, and evaluation of staff, program and individual treatment planning; administering budget within authorized limits; coordinating client treatment with clinical and school departments; monitors physical site and needs for maintenance, cleaning, workplace safety requirements, and other necessary improvements.
2. Develops individual client residential treatment plans in conformance with state and other standards, and insure that the staff team implements therapeutic activities consistent with the program's philosophy, policies and procedures, and these treatment plans. Oversees the monitoring and reporting of behavior changes and progress.
3. Oversees the planning and implementation of daily recreational and leisure activities; chairs group and community meetings with staff and clients; organizes and trains staff to teach ADL skills; insures that staff and clients maintain a clean and healthy residential unit; and provides transportation to and from activities and appointments as needed.
4. Works with Residential Director, Clinical and Management team on program planning, problem solving when issues arise, and further developing agency policies and procedures as warranted.
5. Develops relationships with clients that assist them in growth and maturation, and interacts with client's family members, other treatment providers and the public, consistent with staff role prescriptions and boundaries, and the client's treatment plan.
6. Oversees and provides the necessary supervision and behavior management in residence and on trips to insure client safety, to prevent crisis, and to support the achievement of treatment goals.
7. Responds to crisis situations to insure client safety in accordance with established program procedures, methods, and practices.
8. Communicates all necessary information to Residential Director, Clinical and Management team, and staff members concerning client behavior, treatment, problems, appointments, etc.; necessary shift change information; family contacts and other needed information; and completes and reviews all required documentation, written reports, periodic reviews, log entries, MAP-related documentation, incident/ restraint forms, etc. in a timely manner.
9. Oversees the entirety of the MAP process, completes all necessary MAP duties, works closely with nursing to ensure all MAP functions are functioning optimally, and that MAP-related supervision and training is up to date.
10. Performs other duties and attends training sessions and meetings as required.
11. Adhere to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Rules, Standards, and Ethics Policy.
Degree: B.A. preferred
License and/or Certification: CPR/FA Years and Type of Experience: 1+ years related experience.
Other Skills or Requirements: Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, supervisory experience, valid drivers license
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical restraints and participate in recreational activities, visual and auditory acuity to supervise clients, ability to drive a car.
