```Duties```
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Ensure food safety by adhering to proper food handling and storage procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders and answering any questions they may have
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service
```Experience```
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong sales skills and ability to upsell deli items to customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work area
