Position Summary
This position is based out of our Seneca, SC campus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Standard Duties:
- Proficient using Rockwell or Siemens PLC software.
- Proficient using a multi-meter and Ethernet cable tester.
- Knowledge of using an oscilloscope to monitor various machine signals – Preferred.
- Electrical construction-building electrical panels, Ethernet cables, and working with hand tools.
- Develop and lead various controls training to develop maintenance technicians.
- Perform complex periodic maintenance on automated and other production systems and equipment using knowledge of solid-state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers, etc.
- Proficient in navigating window-based products and using standard software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, inspect, and test a variety of production systems and equipment.
- Perform equipment failure analysis and work with a team to develop a preventive maintenance solution.
- Work with the engineering staff and outside vendors regarding equipment installation, upgrades, and parts.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (electrical)- Preferred.
- Knowledge of robotics, servo drives and vision systems/barcode scanning hardware.
- Must be an effective communicator verbal and written.
- Other duties as assigned.
Safety, Health and Physical Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand up lifts.
- Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs. repetitively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to assembly, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.
- All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures.
- Working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Stepping up and down off PIT Equipment; walking long distances over extended periods.

Education & Experience
Education:
High School diploma or GED required
Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Certifications pertaining to related manufacturing field strongly preferred
- Mechatronics or Industrial Electronics
Experience:
Experience in fast paced industrial lean environment
5 years related experience and/or training in controls field preferred
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
