JOB SCOPE:
Following established kitchen standards and recipes, policies of hotel restaurants and management, and health and safety regulations, responsible for the preparation and production of all foods in all areas of the Kitchen.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Food Preparation
Prepares meats, fish, vegetables, sauces, salads, desserts (each in accordance to the recipes and directions provided by the chef).
Compliance
- Ensure sufficient “mise-en-place” of his/ her assigned station before and after meal period.
- Ensure proper food presentation following set standards.
- Ensure clean workstation at all times.
- Ensure sanitary measures and methods during preparation and cooking of all food items.
