**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare patients for dental work and treatment procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Perform laboratory tasks such as taking impressions of patients' teeth
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain cleanliness and prevent infection
- Knowledge of CAD software for dental applications
-A current Registered Dental Assistant License
-Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy
- Experience in assisting with dental procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to dentistry
- Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
- Understanding of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
