**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that our healthcare practices and documentation meet all regulatory and accreditation standards. The RN will conduct thorough compliance reviews, audits, and assessments, providing critical feedback and recommendations to maintain the highest standards of patient care and operational integrity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews of medical records, policies, and procedures.
-Monitoring
The Registered Nurse is expected to assess and provide oversight of the following: b. Healthcare Plan (HCP) i. Supervision of the LPN and monitoring of DSS and proxy caregiver staff compliance with any functions of the healthcare plan to include, but are not limited to: - Maintenance and surveillance of data reflected within clinical logs. For example, bowel, vital, intake and output, seizure, Medication Administration Records (MARs).
-Completion of initial assessments and Supervisory visits
- Monitor and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
- Evaluate clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures as necessary.
- Provide training and education to staff on compliance-related topics and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance findings and present recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Assist in preparing for accreditation surveys and inspections.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve compliance issues.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.
- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or similar credential is preferred.
