FIELD SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
The Field Supervisor will be a self-sufficient team leader that installs mechanical systems, leads field staff in project construction, troubleshooting and solves problems in the field. The Supervisor will interact with customers and perform the day-to-day responsibility of executing projects and solving problems in the field or shop. The Field Supervisor works closely with project managers and executive leadership to improve designs, innovate, and manage people and projects. This position reports to the Operations Manager.
The individual will be required to perform a diverse range of assignments that require working outdoors, in a warehouse environment, at remote worksites, and overnight travel. Some international travel may be required. Travel may include extended assignments. The qualified candidate should be able to work on his or her feet for extended periods of time, lift 75 pounds, and be skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage small-to-midsize, technically complex projects in the shop and field
· Represent Clean-Flo in client interaction on project sites
· Oversee field staff to meet project objectives
· Plan, schedule, and coordinate field work
· Set priorities and schedules for the team to ensure task completion
· Identify and resolve day-to-day quality, technical, and operational issues at field sites
· Provide coaching and feedback to field staff
· Identify root causes of operations issues and implement corrective actions
· Keep meticulous field notes
· Drive pickup trucks and pull trailers
· Operate boats (Jon-Boat with outboard, pontoon boat with outboard, kayak)
· Use hand and power tools in shop or field construction
· Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required by management
· Perform manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
Required Experience and Education
· 10-15 years experience in project construction work with progressive responsibility
· Extensive experience with trade or craft work: plumbing, basic carpentry, basic electrical, operating and repairing pumps, air compressors, and generators
· Willingness to work with your hands
· Proven ambition to solve problems and to do what it takes to make things work
· Current employment in a construction field at foreman or supervisor level
· Demonstrated experience leading projects with value up to $1M. Documentation of this experience may be requested as part of the interview process.
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and assert leadership
· Excellent communication skills and people skills
· Experience with the review and interpretation of technical specifications and drawings.
· Experience working with project managers to coordinate procurement, staffing, and execution
· Ability to swim in that we often work on boats on the water
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
· Exposure to the use of variable frequency drives and telemetric remote monitoring and operation systems
· Experience operating boats with outboard motors and kayaks, rope handling and knots
· Hands-on experience in light manufacturing and equipment fabrication

- Proven experience in supervising construction projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents
- Familiarity with contract management and budgeting processes
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills
