The Data Engineer will be responsible for building algorithms to help give easier access to raw data. This individual will need to understand company’s or internal client’s objectives. They will also need to understand how to optimize data retrieval and how to develop dashboards, reports and other visualizations for stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Understand how to optimize data retrieval and how to develop dashboards, reports and other visualizations for stakeholders.
- Communicate data trends, managing and organizing data, while also keeping an eye out for inconsistencies that will impact business goals.
- This is a technical position, requiring experience and skills in areas like programming, mathematics and computer science.
- Soft skills to communicate data trends to others in the organization and to help the business make use of the data it collects.
- Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures.

Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or have a degree
in another related IT field
- Experience with SQL, Java, and Python
- Strong experience in Data Engineering
- Thorough knowledge of Data Lifecycle
- Experience with Apache Spark, Linux, Java, Python, Scala, SQL and Microsoft Azure
