Job Summary: The Office Administrator position is a part-time role that provides comprehensive office support to a thriving, historic downtown Albany church. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who requires minimal supervision and enjoys autonomy in their work, but also is able to communicate with a variety of church members and leadership to maintain appropriate functions.
Essential Functions:
- Provide the Co-Pastors comprehensive administrative support, including copying, word processing, sending and distributing mail, filing, and maintaining and disposing of documents and records; other duties include:
- Member support, such as:
- Greet members, visitors and callers and direct them as appropriate
- Serves as first point of contact for new members and visitors and offers welcoming, warm approach,
- Send correspondence to members and donors for memorials or others gifts
- Manage church records including church membership via online church management application
- Communications, such as:
- Produce and proof the weekly bulletin, e-blasts, annual report and other printed material
- Use databases to send quarterly donation statements
- Maintain and update website and other FPC social media sites
- Maintain daily, monthly and yearly calendar of church activities and events
- Office support, such as;
- Organize the church office, order supplies and maintenance of office equipment
- Oversee contract renewals (e.g., copier, mail, etc.)
- Financial record keeping, such as:
- Make weekly or as needed bank deposits
- Log financial data such as payroll, invoices, and payment forms
- Building management: such as:
- Coordinating with internal and external parties about space sharing (i.e., room rental) and collecting payment
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
- Minimum of High School diploma/GED required/or other certification; Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of Administrative Assistant Experience required.
