Summary: The Regulatory Compliance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that Alessi Bakeries adheres to all relevant regulations and standards. This position requires a meticulous individual with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to accurately check and enter data. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, preferred, will support the quality assurance team by managing documentation, meticulous in data management, and capable of coordinating with various departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Obtain regulatory documentation from vendors, including kosher certificates and other necessary documents.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to verify that the correct reference, lot number, and quantity of ingredients are received.
- Work with the mixing department to track and document that ingredients are pulled from the correct lot, ensuring proper rotation.
- Maintain and update QA compliance-related data.
- Organize records and documentation into the appropriate internal databases, forms, and systems.
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or non-compliance issues to the FSQA Director.
- Assist in implementing new regulatory requirements and updating existing processes accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders regarding compliance matters.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Experience in tracking and documenting ingredient use and rotation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with compliance management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- This position may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- The role may involve working in a production or warehouse environment.
- Full-time position with standard working hours.
