Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Business Systems Analyst to join the team at our Technology department. The Business Systems Analyst will deliver a World Class Experience by using knowledge of software programs, vendor applications, and business strategies to help the Bank maximize productivity and communication. This role has system Administration responsibility for the Bank’s eSignature Platform (DocuSign), project management platform (Jira), and intranet software applications (SharePoint and others). The Business Systems Analyst will design, develop, and coordinates workflow and process integration in managed systems for each business unit throughout the enterprise.
Minimum Requirements, Activities & Responsibilities
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or IT related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

A minimum of three years up to five years of experience working with customers and project teams to launch and support projects that meet the requirements of the business required

A minimum of three years up to five years of experience administering, supporting, and training users on information systems required
-
Previous experience in a regulated environment; financial services preferred
Essential Functions:

Analyze business and engineering problems for improving and streamlining procedures
-
Developing and documenting systems, processes and logic required to support business requirements
-
Document, develop, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and ensure quality standards are met

Generate technical support documentation and establish protocols for the department to assist management and employees

Communicate upgrades and changes with all affected departments to ensure concurrence with changes prior to implementation
Skills and Capabilities:
-
Knowledge of commonly-used financial institution concepts, practices and procedures.

Experience translating business requirements into meaningful documentation and workflows.

A keen eye for design and understanding of best practices for user interfaces and user experience (UI/UX)

Ability to construct reusable reports based on common reporting requests.

Ability to plan and prioritize job tasks and assignments to meet established deadlines.

Ability to solve problems and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
