Pathways to Wellness Medication Clinic is an outpatient mental health treatment program founded in 2000 to meet a significant need within our mental health community. Pathways to Wellness is designed to provide a vital link in the spectrum of services available to individuals requiring mental health management. Staffed by Board Certified Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Psychiatric Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Licensed Clinicians, our clinics provide services that are intended to afford significant relief from the symptoms of mental illness, to facilitate our patient’s ability to return or remain in the community, and to avoid treatment at higher levels of care. Pathways to Wellness has provided over 25 years of specialty mental health services to the adult population in Alameda County community.
Seeking a hands-on leader who is passionate about Clinical and Administrative aspects of community health services. Understands and believes the importance of delivering extraordinary customer service while meeting agency goals. The Program Manager will oversee the Oakland clinics', Operations, Fiscal, Utilization Management and overall office administration/management of outpatient mental health medication clinic. Responsible for providing daily administrative management and oversight of performance results of all staff. Accountable for setting up and maintaining functional administrative systems that will support ongoing improvement of the program. Facilitate the hiring and training of all new employees and coordinating information technology support. Responsible for maintaining all confidentiality issues related to HIPAA. Ongoing implementation of office systems and staff schedules to facilitate the smooth flow of the program and to ensure superior services are delivered to patients.
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm with some occasional Saturday and evening hours as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work or related healthcare field is a preferred! Minimum of a Bachelors Degree required
- 2 years experience working with the patients with severe and persistent mental impairments
- 2 years experience supervisor experience
- 3 years experience managerial experience
- Solid clinical skills and ability to handle complex client issues
- Excellent organizational, problem solving skills and fiscal management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team
- Proven customer services skills and experience working with patients. Must able to work some weekends (specifically some Saturday's and/or some evenings as needed)
- Solid administrative, office, and computer skills
- Ability to create excel spreadsheets and experience using patient scheduler software.
- Well organized and able to multi -task.
- Good judgment and able to make sound independent decisions.
Able to thrive in a fast pace environment with high volumes of customers.
