We are looking for a person a Maintenance Technician to join our Arkansas location! The work schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Summary: Performs repairs and maintenance to plant facilities and equipment as scheduled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conducts daily work activities in a safe and professional manner, keeping with company policy at all times.

Maintains clean and organized work areas.

Completes work as assigned by Plant Manager or Supervisor.
- Performs work on preventative maintenance programs as scheduled.

Removes snow and cares for grounds as needed throughout all season of the year.

Orders and maintains inventory for supplies and specified parts. Picks up items from town as needed.

Repairs or maintains building and equipment (Plumbing, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Welding, Metal Cutting/Brazing, Electrical, Assembly, Installation, Removal and Disposal).

Operates Forklift and Company Truck.

Assures corporate policies and procedures are met.

Assures all work and repairs meets the necessary safety requirements.

Works flexible hours and ability to come in on call as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and ability to operate forklift, company truck, & related equipment, plasma cutter, cutting/brazing torch, welder, machine shop equipment, and powered hand tools safely and efficiently.

Able to lift up to 45 pounds on a regular basis.

Able to work independently throughout the shift to complete scheduled work.

Driver’s License and safe driving record.

Work at heights up to 45 feet above ground.
- Flexible work hours as needed.

Able to work in various weather conditions and temperatures, both hot and cold.

Mechanical aptitude.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Good attendance.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics as applied to facilities and equipment maintenance.

Ability to use machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.

Work with and take direction from Plant Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

Maintain productive working relationship and attitude toward others while on the job.

At least 2 years of Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
