CHC Solutions Inc is currently seeking an experienced Healthcare CGM Documentation Specialist to join our team in our Opelika, AL office. This is an in-office position and the hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30pm Central Time.

In the Healthcare CGM Documentation Specialist role, you will do the following:
Admin/Verification

Accurately enters new patient demographic information into the billing system.

Identifies reorder patients, reviews all patient demographic information, and updates the patient file as needed.

Verifies insurance eligibility – accurately entering the insurance carrier and patient identification in the patient’s account.

Contacts patients or physician offices to obtain missing information that is necessary for order processing.

Categorizes and routes all orders, authorizations, or documentation to the appropriate teams for processing.
Documentation

Sends documentation requests to physicians via the appropriate method for the account.

Follows up on outstanding documentation, following the Communication action plan established by Leadership.

Communicates documentation related issues with the customer, physician, sales representatives or the appropriate CHC employees, in order to bring them to resolution.

Reviews returned documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Logs returned documentation in the patient account when appropriate.
Other:

Notes ALL correspondence with the patient or doctor’s office in the patient’s account - utilizing the appropriate standard note format.

Maintains a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward all CHC customers at all times including patients and healthcare professionals.

Complies with all applicable CHC Solutions policies, procedures and protocols.

Complies with all current government regulations and professional standards respecting patient care.

Excellent typing skills and computer literacy skills (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Excellent verbal and written communication

Proven time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking, prioritization and follow-up skills in a rapidly changing environment
