Cameo Dental Specialists is a rapidly growing dental specialty group looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist. This position is responsible for charge entry, payment posting, A/R follow-up, and denials management in accordance with the center’s policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Liaise with insurance providers to elucidate patients' coverage and to resolve disputes about rejected claims
Follow official guidelines and rules in order to assign appropriate CDT codes with a minimum of 95% accuracy.
Maintains coding reference information.
Reviews and manages aging reports for assigned doctors
Reviews and communicates new or revised billing and coding guidelines and information with providers and their assigned specialty.
Makes appropriate changes to incorrectly billed services, adds missing unbilled services, provides missing data as appropriate, corrects CDT codes.
May collaborate with other operational areas to provide coding reimbursement assistance; helps to identify and resolve incorrect claim issues and may assist with drafting letters in order to coordinate appeals.
Communicating with patients of any co-payments or shortfalls in coverage by their health insurance, outstanding balances, etc.
Understands and can explain dental and medical insurance plan benefits.
Verifies insurance benefits.
Effectively communicate with others, including physician offices, insurance companies, patients, and others about insurance benefits and costs associated to procedures.
Handles multiple assignments or pieces of work at one time. The capability of working within a stressful environment under consistent deadlines, pressures and interruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Two years’ experience billing/collecting in a healthcare/dental setting
Knowledge of dental/oral surgery operations
Proficient computer skills
