Position Title: Vice President of Marketing, Retail
Location: St. Louis, MO.
Pay Range: $200,000 - $275,000

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts across all channels. The VP of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our customer-centric strategies, driving growth through innovative marketing initiatives, and enhancing our brand presence in the retail sector. Our ideal candidate is adept at building strong relationships, maximizing customer value, and directly contributing to the company's revenue and strategic objectives. This position reports directly to the President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on elevating customer journeys and experiences digitally and in store.
- Customer Insights: Utilize customer data and insights to deeply understand customer needs and preferences, enabling the development of targeted marketing campaigns and solutions.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and relevance across all touchpoints.
- Digital Innovation: Drive a holistic digital marketing and online shopping strategy utilizing advanced tools and technologies to nurture the digital customer experience and optimize conversion rates.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor marketing effectiveness, analyze campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior leaders and stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position within consumer-focused organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic planning and execution in high-growth environments.
- Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics, and emerging trends in retail and e-commerce.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience and flexibility to handle the pressures and challenges associated with executive responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in a multi-location retail organization
