Vertex Reliability is seeking an experienced and highly-skilled Business Development Territory Manager who can help with our company's rapid growth. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience in quickly securing new clients in the Industrial Manufacturing space, and will possess a capacity to translate client requirements into specific deliverables on a daily basis. We are seeking someone who is able to excel in a fast-paced, energetic, competitive environment while making strong connections with our customers, and who can simultaneously perform the duties of a project manager by working closely with our engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and develop business relationships.
- Maintain business relationships.
- Generate revenue by closing deals.
- Attend conferences and trade shows, and network with industry professionals.
- Analyze economic trends.
- Advise clients on equipment operations and maintenance strategies and practices
Must Haves:
- Entrepreneurial Spirit with the ability to navigate risks and perform well
- Experience in Industrial Sales (Rolodex of contacts is a bonus)
- Ability to work independently with high quality and with a team
- Effective communication skills
Compensation:
This job is a commission-based compensation role with expected pay based on performance. The expected compensation schedule for a high performing Territory Manager is as follows
- Month 1 - Paid Training - Salary
- Month 2 - 50% Salary + 50% Commission
- Month 3 - 25% Salary + 75% Commission
- Month 4 - 15% Salary + 85% Commission
- Month 5 - 10% Salary + 90 % Commission
- Month 6+ - 100% Commission

Pay: $52,151.00 - $125,698.00 per year
