Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable is currently searching for a Field Sales Representative. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales objectives while ensuring a high level of customer service when promoting TPC products and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will live in or near the Toledo, OH area and will have a geographic area including Eastern Indiana and the Northwest quadrant of Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Works with direct manager on opportunities to drive growth and support key business strategies
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of TPC products within an industrial environment directly to end user customers
- Develop a territory plan to maximize face time with customers and drive new sales within an assigned territory
- Expand market share in existing and new strategic and high potential accounts
- Forecast future revenue, business development opportunities and market trends within assigned territory
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required
- 5+ years outside sales experience, preferably in an industrial setting
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to sell value (total cost of ownership) vs price
- Must be able to work remote and travel to visit customers in territory regularly
- Ability to embrace change
Preferred
- Previous experience managing a geographic sales territory
- Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial distribution, engineering/technology or related degree
- Previous industrial wire & cable sales experience is a plus
