Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Roper St Francis Health System Nursing Support Assistant provides dedicated system wide support to Nursing. This position maintains and updates the nursing website as directed and/or approved by nursing leadership, assists with system wide nursing projects, and manages the Roper Hospital meeting rooms.
Essential Job Functions

Working with Nursing Leadership, regularly review and update the nursing website for the nursing system.

Assist with organizing and coordinating special projects as directed by Nursing Leadership. Work must be accurate and completed within established deadlines.

Manage the reservation process of the Roper Hospital meeting room.

Perform other job duties and responsibilities as required.

Work Experience
At least 1 year of clerical experience (required).
3 years of administrative work experience which must have included some experience with updating and managing web content preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting. Frequently requires long periods of working at a computer. Intermittent walking, standing, stooping, bending. May require lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant communication (talking, listening, etc.). Must be able to speak clearly. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. No exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Normal office environment. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, and/or irregular hours. Ability to read, comprehend, focus on attention to detail, work efficiently and effectively. May be required to travel and/or work out of different facilities/locations.

Hard/Tech/Clinical Skills:

Proficient with the latest versions of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
