Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while providing age-appropriate activities and educational opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Create a structured daily schedule to promote routine and consistency
- Provide basic care needs such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with potty training
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a positive and supportive team environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain necessary documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of children, ensuring their safety and engagement
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
-Child Development Association Certification (CDA) - preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
