Position: QUALITY ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Engineer works with the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering teams to meet customer requirements. This involves document creation, testing and validation, PPAP creation, frequency-based checks and analysis. The Quality Engineer will also be Myotek’s liaison to the customer for potential changes and concerns including 8D’s and DMR’s.
JOB FUNCTIONS

- Assists in the development & implementation of process control characteristics and techniques to maintain product quality (Control Plan)
- Coordinates with the Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering departments in the development of data collection & analysis techniques
- Responsible for the coordination of customer specific requirements regarding Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as well as any associated process capability related activities and reports
- Reviews and maintains records of conformance related to Incoming Quality and First Article Inspection
- Participates in Root Cause Analysis including appropriate documentation regarding corrective & preventive action related to any product non-conformance (external/internal)
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations and developing action plans
- Potential travel to customer or supplier locations
- Assists in plant objectives to achieve quality, productivity and cost reduction goals
- Stop shipment or production process for quality or safety concerns.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Quality Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering or a related field
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reporting
- Able to use hand tools, SPC and other types of gauges.
- Preference will be given to Candidates with CMM experience.
