Overview
New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. This position is at Rutgers- New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) in Newark, NJ. Aligned with Rutgers University–New Brunswick and collaborating university-wide, RBHS includes eight schools, a behavioral health network, and five centers and institutes that focus on cancer treatment and research, neuroscience, advanced biotechnology and medicine, environmental and occupational health, and health care policy and aging research.

Statement
The mission of the Department includes teaching, research, clinical care and service to the institution, local environment, state and country. Our mission includes teaching Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health to medical students, residents, physicians. Our role is to advance knowledge in the field of clinical medicine as well as the basic science of pregnancy and reproduction through research. We provide clinical care to our local community and consultative care in our sub specialties to the State. We also provide leadership in our field, both locally and nationally.
