ABOUT THE ROLE
The National E-Commerce Manager role reports directly into the Senior Director, Sales. This position is accountable for developing and executing the SCJP business strategy to optimize SCJP E-Commerce presence and effectiveness overall. The person in this role will also have ownership of the SCJP/ Amazon relationship specifically. This is a dynamic opportunity that will require flexibility, but also requires a candidate, with strong strategic thinking skills, some foundational revenue management knowledge and who is both process and results oriented.
The E-Commerce Sales Manager will deliver sales growth for E-Commerce business across North America (beginning in the US) and notably with full account management responsibility on our largest E-Commerce pure players.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be a key player in developing and executing road map for SCJP digital transformation.

Build & execute, strategic business plan to deliver assigned SCJP revenue/profitability targets, within the E-Commerce channel.

Build & execute the channel playbook for E-Commerce channel.

Must develop and lead cross functional team, to optimize price/pack architecture and our overall product offerings for the E-Commerce channel to address gaps in our portfolio and reduce customer friction points where applicable.

Must work cross functionally on optimizing website effectiveness to ensure that website is communicating the desired messaging/information to the end user/distributor effectively.

Develop & demonstrate a thorough understanding of SCJP position in this space, (to include specific product value proposition, market & competitive landscape, competitive actions, user needs, portfolio opportunities, etc to inform strategic decisions/approaches referenced above.

Strategic ownership of SCJP Amazon relationship including delivering fiscal year sales & profitability (program spend) goals as well as optimizing end-to-end commercial process (order to cash) to include forecasting, item & pricing management, payment & rebate management.

SCJP Liaison to SCJ Global Ecommerce team and cross-BU Amazon account teams to maximize SCJ strategic impact.

Management & contract negotiation with E-Commerce 3rd party providers (Flywheel, etc.).

Cross functional collaboration with supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer service to ensure frictionless customer experience.

Build positive and productive business relationships with customers, prospects, and influencers.

Daily utilization of SCJP support tools, reports and CRM system to optimize time and communication.

Active and responsible management of expenses and financial investments (pricing, rebates, dispensers, etc.).

Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with all internal functions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years’ previous selling experience within an ecommerce environment, preferably Amazon.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by building a business from scratch and “breakthrough” thinking.

Documented experience in organizational change management

Institutional or CPG selling and/or marketing experience with market leading brands preferred.
