Job description
We are seeking Registered Nurses to work with a well respected Behavioral Health Facility in St. Louis, Missouri predominantly with Adult/ Geriatric psychiatric patients. The RN will enjoy working with an integrated team with very good management and strong support staff. Very good compensation and benefits package including loan repayment and signing bonus! Great opportunity for an RN to gain experience working in behavioral health especially if the RN is seeking to purse a MSN and become a PMHNP.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to person(s) receiving services in a supportive and therapeutic environment within the scope of their professional license. Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of person(s) receiving services, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records, and educate person(s) receiving services and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Prefer 1 year nursing experience with clinical area of service provided by facility. Current RN license with the state where facility is providing service. First Aid, CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
Shift and Need: 3/12s / 7p-7a
Pay: Starting at 38.00 per hour with $2.25 differential for nights and $1.75 for weekends.
Bonus: $5,000
$5,000 1-year commitment
$7,000 2-year commitment
