Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Skills:
- Proficient in all aspects of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, particularly the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience working on industrial projects, such as renovating or building factories or warehouses
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and power tools used in the trade
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of high voltage systems is a must
- Must know residential and commercial aspects of electrical
