As our General Manager, for the female founded and owned Entertainment Company, Our DJ Rocks, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Event Management/Operations, and Executive teams. Key Responsibilities
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Our DJ Rocks, ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly and that the company continues to thrive and expand. This role demands a highly organized, proactive, and driven individual who can manage a fast-paced environment and maintain the highest standards of excellence. The General Manager will work closely with the owner to align on strategic goals while taking full responsibility for operational execution.
Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, event logistics, and team coordination.
- Ensure all events are executed with the highest level of professionalism and client satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes and systems to optimize operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of talented female DJs and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and promptness.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the company’s budget, including expense tracking, financial reporting, and profitability analysis.
- Work with the owner to set and achieve financial goals.
Marketing and Business Development:
- Collaborate on marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Strategic Planning:
- Work with the owner to develop and implement strategic plans for growth and expansion.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure the company remains competitive.
Pay + How to Apply
This position is full time M-F (and occasional weekends) from out offices in Apopka and you may be asked to travel to events across Central Florida. Pay will be competitive, starts at $60,000 per year and is commensurate with experience.
