About the Role:
As an RN MDS Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care. . The ideal candidate will have experience in medical terminology, utilization review, and inpatient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved RN program, licensed in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Proficient in the care plan process with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of MDS and care plans in compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate ongoing evaluation of documentation for reimbursement.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and certification standards.
- Participate in regulatory surveys and corrective actions.
- Collect and analyze resident data to inform care decisions.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote positive interactions with all stakeholders.
- Support staff education and professional development initiatives.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds when necessary.
