Brand new hotel hiring for front office position. We are currently in need of someone with flexibility to work an occasional day shift (8am-4pm), nights (4pm-12am), overnights (12am-8am) and weekends when needed. This is a full time position.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common areas such as lobby, breakfast area, public restroom, and guest laundry room.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but we are happy to train the right person.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus
- Fluent in multiple languages is an advantage
