Job Overview:
Busy surgical office seeking additional skilled Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow. As a Front Desk Associate you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors.
Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
-Collect insurance information from the patient.
- Oversee scheduling, appointments, and patient registration processes
- Maintain electronic health record systems
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Handle phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking messages as needed
- Monitor and maintain medical records in compliance with regulations
- Address patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when necessary
-When needed, seating patients, discharging patients, and other duties to facilitate patient flow.
Skills:
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
-Flexibility to facilitate flow of patients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage front desk operations effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially in an <ER> or urgent care setting
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and vendors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
