Job Objective: To generate sponsorship sales for the Pin Oak Charity Horse show. To create a mutually beneficial experience for Pin Oak Charity Horse Show sponsors and stakeholders through execution of deliverables, social media presence and one on one communication
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Increase sales of naming rights, event sponsorship, sponsor banners, and other forms of sponsor support for the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show
- Develop donor relationships and increase donor support for the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show through execution and verification of deliverables, social media presence and one on one communication.
- Design and deliver sponsor packages that deliver premium experiences, high visibility and measurable value for donors and sponsors.
- Manage all aspects of Pin Oak sponsorship activities, including sponsor prospecting, proposals and presentations, sponsor contracts and donor agreements, and follow-up and support.
- Provide timely responses to prospects, and existing sponsor requests along with routine correspondence with past and current donors.
- Assist in creating meaningful content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok.
- Monitor results of social media and all other communications generated by Manager of Marketing
- Timely and effective correspondence, acknowledgements and “thank you” communication for sponsors and donors.
- Assist in creating a budget for sponsor portion of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show event.
- Manage web sites, advertising, direct mail, e-newsletters, print projects, event materials and other donor/sponsor/community communication using consistent, existing, branding for both entities.
- Work with contracted party planner to coordinate and execute hospitality events in conjunction with the Pin Oak Show to deliver a premium experience for donors and sponsors.
- Ensure that sponsor banners, jumps and other sponsor-related items are clean and well presented at all times. Manage displays of magazines.
- Provide sponsor logos, and verbiage for PA announcements for horse show announcers and other horse show staff
- Other job duties as assigned.
Other Job Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in budgeting process, determination of fair market value for Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, creation and maintenance of sponsor and donor pipeline for Pin Oak Charity Horse Shows.
- Maintain content on websites for the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show
- Understand the creation and management of table sales and seating charts for gala events of the Pin Oak Show
- Dynamic public speaking skills as well as effective individual communication skills by phone and email
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours and weekends when needed.
- Ability to articulate mission statement
Qualifications:
- Verifiable experience with fundraising and/or sponsorship sales.
- Experience in brand management through print ad, social media platforms, website and other communications
- Portfolio of work product is required.
- Experience managing or directing staff and/or volunteers.
- Experience in donor relations and nonprofit working environment
- Experience writing press releases and short articles for magazines and other publications.
- Ability to lay out magazines and promotional materials.
- Knowledge of event planning with focus on sponsor deliverables
- Ability to manage Word Press website.
- Highly proficient with use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media platforms
- Clean background check and DPS record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
