Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in inventory management tasks such as receiving, stocking, and picking orders as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas, shelves, and racks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and security.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MRP/ERP software.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word).
- Self-starter with a strong personal work ethic. Must have a “whatever it takes” attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to communicate a sense of urgency when required.
- Effective in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple internal customers.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, diagnose, and solve critical problems.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and projects.
