We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support multiple aspects of our Marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of elements of the marketing mix, including promotion, events, digital, social media, and more. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
This position is a shared services role and will support the diverse range of brands owned by The QUIKRETE Companies, including Quikrete, Rinker Materials, Best Block, Pavestone, Custom Building Products, and more.
This position works out of our Atlanta corporate headquarters five days per week and does not offer hybrid or work from home options.
Objectives of this role
- Work closely with brand Marketing Directors to assist in executing the tactics which support the marketing strategies for multiple brands of The Quikrete Companies.
- Provide feedback on performance of tactics executed to identify and, with guidance, implement improvements for improved outcomes.
- Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, and campaign results.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal tools including digital asset manager (DAM), project requests, project management database.
Responsibilities
- Research market trends, customer behavior, and competitors; prepare reports analyzing and summarizing data.
- Support the Marketing Director in working with Marketing shared services, ensuring that special requests, and all elements of requests, are completed and delivered on time.
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for usage and promotion.
- Support the planning of events and trade shows by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules, and coordinating workflow and logistics.
- Maintain inventory and facilitate distribution/shipping of select marketing materials and equipment that support events and trade shows.
- Continually seek new sources of prospective customers and provide recommendations Marketing leadership.
Required skills, experience, and qualifications
- Experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role.
- Knowledge of fundamental elements of marketing mix including traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, sales funnel, and social marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred skills, experience, and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and digital asset managers (DAM)
- Working knowledge of email software
- Experience in planning trade shows/events
- 3-5 years in a Marketing Coordinator or similar role.
