About Clarian Scott Boulevard
Clarian Place Child Care & Learning Center at Scott Boulevard is a family-owned and operated birth through five learning center that strives to be an inclusive village equipping early minds with the social-emotional skills that connect their academic learning to everyday life. We began operating the Decatur - Scott Boulevard location during the summer of 2017 and recently completed a strategic planning process that has clarified who we are as an organization and what our priorities should be in the next few months and in the next year. We are currently seeking a lead teacher that has taught in the Georgia Pre-K system to partner with our lead teacher in supporting the holistic needs of our students, families, and caretakers during the remainder of the 2021-2022 academic school year. You Are…
A self-reflective early childhood educator with a strong growth-mindset. You have previously worked with young students and partnered with their families and caretakers for students’ success. Building off home partnerships, you exhaust all of your options and resources (within reason) to help your students grow. You aren’t afraid to try new approaches to student learning, partnering with your peers, and offering your unique perspective to improve educational spaces and organizations. You get excited about what the day will look like for your students and what growth you can expect and inspire within themselves. Within all of this, learning excites you. Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the Assistant Pre-K teacher and program director to regularly communicate with families on students’ progress and possible interventions; input data into appropriate systems
● Lead the development, creation, and execution of weekly lesson plans
● Lead activities and lessons that develop the physical, cognitive, social-emotional, literary and artistic abilities of students; observe students current and developing abilities
● Maintain a physically and psychologically safe environment for students and families
● Maintain physical cleanliness of the classroom
● Be responsible for tracking daily attendance and follow-up with families, caretakers, and program director

Pay: $30,315.00 - $57,217.00 per year
