Full-Time Commercial Office Assistant Property Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for a full-time commercial office assistant property manager where you will work closely with the chief engineer to oversee all aspects of a family-owned Atlanta office portfolio (average asset held ~17 years), with the main office based in Decatur, GA. With the unique advantage of minimal reporting requirements compared to institutional companies, you will have the latitude to focus on the essential aspects of property management. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising personnel, guiding tenant build-outs and enhancements, managing service agreements, conducting property assessments and inspections, and ensuring property conservation. This individual will report directly into the Asset Management team (based in Miami, FL) with regular interaction with the Owner as well.
Responsibilities:
Your daily activities will encompass tenant and vendor management, property assessments, contract compliance, capital enhancement initiatives, expenditure oversight, and more. The emphasis lies on hands-on involvement, while reporting and budgeting tasks are primarily handled by the asset management team. Future opportunities would include ability to handle lease renewals and smaller square footage leases at the Decatur property.

- While not a requirement for initial work, a willingness to learn leasing and lease renewals (for additional compensation) is imperative
Required Education, Experience, Licensing:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in Office Property Management, including an understanding of the mechanical and operational systems required to manage 100k+ SF office properties.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License, along with auto insurance and reliable transportation.
