Job Title: Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Provide general information to visitors and callers
-CROSS TRAIN TO PRETEST PATIENTS/ OPTOMETRIC TECH EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Experience:
- Previous experience as an optometric receptionist &/or optometric tech is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems, office equipment & electronic health records
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information
This position requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
