Overview:
Full-time, Spanish Immersion teaching position for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must be bilingual and preferably familiar with Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs.
The purpose of the elementary teacher is to prepare students for meaningful lives by contributing to their educational and social development.
● Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
● Bachelor’s Degree
● Certified or Certifiable with the Florida Department of Education
● Prior experience in education, preferably in DLI programs
● ● Demonstrate a mature personal Christian faith consistent with Kendall Christian School’s Statement of Faith, and be an active member of a Christian church
● Experience planning and developing curriculum
● Entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, initiative, and desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
● Ability to maintain an appropriate work/life balance.
● Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
● Possess solid communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills.
