Position Overview:
As the General Manager of our Headquarters location in Houston, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing our maintenance and repair departments, ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control within the maintenance and repair departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and mentor departmental teams to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial goals.
- Provide leadership and direction in areas such as HR, finance, and sales & marketing to support overall business objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between headquarters and regional offices to facilitate communication and alignment of goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in swimming pool maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience in overseeing business operations, with a focus on service-oriented industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
