Summary: We are seeking a Pharmacist to perform various office duties
Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY 10004 / Remote
Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 25 Hrs Per Week
Target Duration/End Date: August 2025
Description of Roles and Responsibilities:
· Provide expert advice to staff attorneys on drugs and drug pricing in aid of investigations related to drug price spikes under Insurance Law Section 111
· Analyze pharmaceutical information in documents received in investigating drug pricing
· Prepare briefings for staff attorneys on discrete issues related to drugs and drug pricing encountered during an investigation
Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in pharmacy or pharmacology. Licensed in New York. Minimum ten years of experience working in a pharmacy or at a drug manufacturer and at least five years of relevant experience
Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
· Proven experience as a pharmacist
· Valid license to practice as a pharmacist
· Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Mediware
· Great organizational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
