Purpose
The Brand Manager will support our Merchandising & Design Services programs, managing brand strategy from development through to final execution. They serve as the lead for go-to-market strategies, internal and external, while aligning key partners and stakeholders along the journey. The Brand Manager is expected to shape and communicate their designated programs’ business objectives as well as translate these into clear marketing plans with a clear vision. The Brand Manager will also work cross functionally across the marketing department to bring these plans to life as well as ensure plans stay on track by managing meeting cadences, developing briefs, overseeing prioritization, and delivering assets.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. The ability to demonstrate clear communication, collaboration & build strong partnerships is incredibly important to success in this role.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, or Journalism
3+ years of Brand or Content Marketing or otherwise relevant work experience
Strong strategical and creative-thinking abilities and the capability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategic recommendations effectively
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally to execute multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Possesses a passion for storytelling and brand building
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Must pass pre-employment background check
Essential Functions
General Brand Management Functions:
Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies for defined areas of support – enhancing brand visibility, resonance & equity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, internal & external
Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, market trends and competitive positioning
Define and manage brand guidelines for defined areas of support to ensure alignment with company values and objectives
- Work with internal creative team (print, digital, video, photo) & content (copy) on execution of the cross-functional partner ask
Measure and report performance of brand marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
Align partners & the company around the brand’s direction, strategies and tactics
Merchandising Brand Management Functions:
Marketing point of contact for the following Merchandising categories:
Wood
Laminate
Vinyl
Adjacent Categories
Installation Materials
Proprietary brand development & maintenance
Category, product & brand campaign support
General category & product support, including partnering with cross-functional marketing teams on opportunities
Design Services Brand Management Functions:
Marketing point of contact for Design Services program
Strategy & execution of in-store, digital & paid advertising for the above-mentioned programs
Operational support for the above-mentioned programs
Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
Limited travel required including air and car travel
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
