An early childhood center in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated and diligent Bilingual Spanish Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their growing staff. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work five days per week from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will:

Help students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities

Evaluate and treat students with disabilities

Maintain daily progress and attendance records

Write progress reports
-
Attend IEP meeting
-
Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations, or assistive technology

Provide the best possible quality care to all students
Qualifications

Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
-
New York State TSSLD
-
NYS Bilingual Spanish Extension required

Pediatric and school experience
-
Experience working with developmental delays and emotionally disturbed children

Ability to multitask

Excellent communication skills
-
Highly organized
