Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
As veterinarians, we are a group of driven, talented, compassionate individuals who strive to be the best version of ourselves we can be resulting in state-of-the-art practices offering gold-standard care for our patients. At Animal House Veterinary Hospital we are also blessed to have a brand new, beautiful facility offering digital radiography, a complete in-house diagnostic lab, CO2 laser surgery, cold laser, digital dental radiography, and an attitude of gratitude!
We are very well-staffed which means support staff discusses all preventative health care with clients, takes histories, TPR patients, phlebotomy, rads, places catheters, premed, induces, and maintains anesthesia, and everything else that does not require a DVM degree. Dr. Taylor and I do exams, diagnose, prescribe treatments, do surgeries and procedures, and write medical records. We stay busy being doctors so, on production, we are paid as doctors should be paid for their time.
We have a very flexible schedule and make it work for the doctor. If Dr. Taylor needs off to attend a child's kindergarten play then I work or we shut down for appointments and use the time to catch up on other things. Period. I have worked every Christmas Eve because Dr. T has children at home and mine are grown and I can.
We look forward to collaborating and learning when someone new is hired. I am open to change, growth, and learning. We are always evolving to become better!
We work together and support each other in our wins and losses, strengths and weaknesses, and get through it all as a team. It is imperative for me to recognize that when something doesn’t go as we expect it can feel heartbreaking. I want to share my experiences so we can survive the difficult challenges together and thrive to fully live out our vocations in the best way possible.
